Collect information about the city where you will live and study

Before you leave, you should find out as much information as you can about the city/town you are going to live in, the educational institution you are studying in, and the considerations for living and studying in New Zealand。

Two carry items

It's best not to carry too much luggage。Airlines have strict rules regarding carry-on hand baggage (suitcases placed in the cabin) and checked baggage。When you check in, your baggage will be weighed by airline staff。Under normal circumstances, the weight of checked baggage is not more than 20 kg, and the weight of the backpack in the cabin suitcase is not more than 7 kg。If your luggage is overweight, you will need to pay the freight, or you can only leave part of your luggage behind。Before packing, be sure to check your airline's regulations on baggage size, weight, forbidden items and other matters。

In addition, if you need to take a New Zealand domestic flight to your final destination in New Zealand, there may be different baggage regulations。Please check with your airline agent or review your airline's (all) regulations regarding baggage。Breaking the weight regulations (on both domestic and international New Zealand airlines) can be a financial burden for you! When returning home to take the flight with luggage, also need to comply with the relevant regulations。

3, the highest degree diploma, transcript notarization or original

4, birth notarization, no crime notarization

7. I like the recipe of the meal

If you wear glasses, bring an extra backup and an optometric sheet for lenses or contact lenses。Put these items and common medicines in a backpack。Many drugs are prohibited from being brought into New Zealand。Customs officers at the airport may need to know what information you have with you。Medicines should be placed in their original labelled packaging。Bring copies of drug prescriptions and gene names。If you suspect that your medicines do not comply with New Zealand law, you can check with the New Zealand Embassy in China。You can also carry the following items in your hand luggage:

1. Change of clothes (at least underwear), toothbrush, and other items needed in the event of delayed or lost checked baggage, or delayed flight

The backpack must be carried with you, so that you can bring the commonly used items you need with you。Your name and address in New Zealand (if temporary) should be marked on the inside and outside of your luggage.。

Luggage loss occasionally occurs on international flights。That doesn't happen very often。Generally, the airline will return the recovered luggage to the owner after a day or two。If your baggage is lost, please contact your airline。You will be asked to fill out a form stating your baggage (size, colour, material, style and brand) and where you are going。Once your baggage is located, the airline will deliver it to you at the address indicated on the form, usually free of charge。

三 Free items

1. Prohibited items

New Zealand has very strict regulations on the management of goods brought into the country, which need to be inspected for harmful substances and disease-free。You are not allowed to bring small animals or insects (live or dead), fresh food, including meat and certain packaged foods。There are also restrictions on the food that can be brought in。If you have any of the above items, you must declare them upon arrival。If you are suspected, you need to be checked at customs。Related content, please log on: www.customs.govt.nz。For relatives or friends who are going to send you items, please tell them about the strict legal requirements in New Zealand。

2. Illegal drugs

Illicit drugs shall not be brought into New Zealand。Bringing in drugs will result in detention。Be vigilant when asked to bring supervised luggage。

Products containing ephedrine and pseudoephedrine, such as Contac NT tablets, are legally restricted drugs in New Zealand。This means that these products can only be brought into New Zealand if there is a personal justification for their use。

Because these materials are widely used in the production of methamphetamine, which is A Class A controlled drug, if you are involved with this type of material proven to be used for criminal purposes, you will be subject to severe penalties under New Zealand law, with a maximum sentence of seven years in prison。

3. Free items

You do not need to bring Chinese food (e.g. instant noodles, snacks, etc.) as most of the food is available in New Zealand。Many towns have Asian food stores。

In New Zealand, you can borrow CDS, DVDS and videos in Chinese, so it's best to bring these items sparingly。

You don't need to bring a calling card from China, international calling cards are sold everywhere in New Zealand and are very cheap。
